A survey course of the political and social history of the United states from the end of the French & India War through the political conclusion of the era of Reconstruction.

A semester-long elective course examining the depiction of key events and time periods in history through the "Hollywood" lens.  Topics have included the US Civil War, imperialism and The Artist as Reflection of Their Times.
